Our 4-star rated Riverdale Elementary school sits at the entrance of our River Greenway path, which is used by school children, residents and visitors of all ages. It's a year-round outdoor experiences and walking path along the St. Joeseph river.
We celebrate the Famous Annual Pickle Festival each year, attracting visitors locally, regionally and across the USA.

Boil Advisory After Water Shutoff 10/21
URGENT NOTICE—Water will be shut off on Wednesday, October 21; Affected addresses: 104, 105, 106 and 108 Spencer St, and all properties on Spencer St between Washington St and County 59.
Please store water for drinking, cooking and flushing before the shut-off.
In consultation with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, a boil water advisory will be in effect once service is restored. This precautionary measure is recommended because the water supply in your service area will be disconnected and reconnected
• After service is restored, bring all cooking and drinking water to a complete boil for 5 minutes.
• Keep boiling all cooking and drinking water until we notify you it is no longer necessary.
• Please conserve water and use only what is needed for household and personal needs.
Eastside High School - Day of Caring Cleanup
THANK YOU—Huge thanks and appreciation to all students and staff from Eastside Jr/High School who helped cleanup our town’s cemetery during the annual “Day of Caring” in St. Joe. Other cleanup projects by students included the River Greenway trail and Riverdale ball diamond.
$750,000 OCRA Grant Awarded to St. Joe!
Angela Snyder, the Town Clerk of St. Joe, has successfully partnered with NIRCC over the past six months to secure $750,000 in OCRA grant funds. These funds will be dedicated to updating our water main lines, ensuring improved infrastructure and service our community. This significant achievement reflects our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all residents. We look forward to positive impact these updates will bring!
